New Video!
Icarus
(Official Music Video)
Besides "Whisper in the Dark," this is the centerpiece of the album of the same name. What once began 25 years ago as an approximately 3-minute demo for my first band has evolved into a 13-minute long track. Thematically, it only indirectly deals with the mythical figure "Icarus." It actually addresses the drug addiction of the protagonist, who, in his intoxication, feels like he's flying, yet is always on the edge of the abyss. This then leads to his downfall and subsequent self-awareness.

Whisper In The Dark
(Official Music Video)
I still vividly remember the horrific images from the Bucha massacre in 2022 during the war in Ukraine. While the text doesn't directly address the Bucha massacre, it plays on the fear of the inhabitants of a small, fictional village who hide in cellars or similar places, afraid of being discovered during an impending invasion.
The Light Goes Out
(Official Music Video)
Just when you think that's it! It's time to say goodbye to your friends and the world, you get the chance to continue living your life. Not everyone is so lucky. And I'm grateful that I've been given this new opportunity!
From Outer Space
(Official Music Video)
We came from the depths of space and landed on Earth, beautiful from the outside like a blue topaz, which captivated us. From afar, our call sounded like a love song, but as we approached, we saw masses of trash, like a swarm of mosquitoes. Even after landing, we noticed the air didn't smell very good…
In The Outside World
feat. Katha Lu (Official Music Video)
"In the Outside World" aims to make visible those who live on the margins of our society – the homeless, people whose dignity is often overlooked. Things that others throw away symbolize social exclusion – material poverty, leftovers, remnants of human value. Visibility instead of repression. Recognizing needs and preserving dignity – in a society that increasingly looks away. With the wonderful Katha on vocals.
Fade To Grey (Visage Cover)
feat. Katha Lu (Official Music Video)
"Fade To Grey" (None Album Track) by Visage is one of the initial sparks of the 80s for me. It was actually the first song we recorded as Blossom Screech in 2022. We thought about it for a long time and decided that we didn't want to release cover songs under the name Blossom Screech. So, it's now under my solo project, Mine's Road. Of course, the stunning Katha is also on vocals.
Don't Hate Me
(Official Music Video)
"Don't hate me" to all the scoundrels, purveyors of drivel, and other villains. I'm starting to get the feeling that the Corona crisis has caused quite a bit of brain damage. I can't explain the mental garbage that some people believe and spread any other way. And unfortunately, this doesn't even stop at close friends and family. Against bullshit and fake news…
Oh Summer
(Official Music Video)
Sometimes you have to put aside the annoyances of everyday life and simply enjoy the season... Oh Summer!
Runaway
(Official Music Video)
The endless search for singers to perform my songs is finally over. After more than 30 years, I suddenly had a brilliant idea! I could just sing my own songs!?!? I think I'm not the fastest. But it turned out better than expected. Technology has helped a little to address the shortcomings. As for the lyrics... well, there are always situations where you just want to run away.
September (Instrumental)
(Official Music Video)
"September," an instrumental, isn't really a song about the season. It was years ago when I wrote the song. I can't say exactly which year. But it was in the month of September.
Icarus
(Official Music Video)
Besides "Whisper in the Dark," this is the centerpiece of the album of the same name. What began 25 years ago as a roughly three-minute demo for my first band has evolved into a 13-minute piece. Thematically, it only indirectly addresses the mythical figure of Icarus. At its core, it's about the protagonist's drug addiction, where he believes himself to be flying high in his intoxicated state, but is constantly on the brink of disaster. This ultimately leads to his fall and the subsequent self-awareness.
Riots Open (Official Music Videos) 2024/25
Fuck You
(Official Music Video)
"Fuck You" is a raw, energetic song about anger, self-assertion, and rejecting humiliation. The lyrics reflect the moment when pent-up frustration explodes and someone decides they will no longer be intimidated or belittled. The music video captures this intense mood and depicts the inner struggle between powerlessness and resistance—an uncompromising expression of strength, defiance, and self-determination. Unfortunately, the song has an age restriction!
Bite It You Scum (G.G. Allin Cover)
(Official Music Video)
"Bite It" is an aggressive, provocative song about anger at exploitation, selfishness, and the arrogance of people who always demand more without taking responsibility themselves. With biting sarcasm and raw energy, the track rails against abuse of power and complacency. The music captures this charged atmosphere and stages an uncompromising eruption of frustration, defiance, and rebellion. A cover version of "G.G. Allin and the Murderjunkies."
Wir Haben Gewonnen
(Official Music Video)
"Wir haben gewonnen" paints a bitterly ironic picture of a world after "victory." The enemy has been defeated, but what remains is a devastated Earth: scorched landscapes, poisoned water, and a humanity living amidst the ruins of its own success. The music video plays with this cynical contradiction between triumph and utter devastation—a bleak reflection on power, war, and the true value of victory.
Riots Open
(Official Music Video)
“Riots Open” is an angry, uncompromising call to resist power, injustice, and a system that seeks to silence people. The song captures the raw energy of protest, uprising, and collective rebellion—loud, chaotic, and unstoppable. The music video reflects this explosive atmosphere: sirens, burning streets, and voices that can no longer be suppressed. An intense statement about resistance, solidarity, and the fight against oppression.
Widerliches Nazipack
(Official Music Video)
"Widerliches Nazipack" is an uncompromising, furious song against right-wing extremism, racism, and misanthropy. With raw energy and a clear stance, the track confronts hate propaganda and nationalist thinking. The music video picks up on this confrontation and sends a powerful message of resistance, civic courage, and a society that resolutely opposes right-wing ideologies. A resounding statement against intolerance and for humanity.

Hush
(A Crime Against Humanity)
(Official Music Video)
When I first saw the video for Peter Gabriel's "Panoptikum" about two months ago, I was totally blown away. My first thought was, "Dude, what kind of crazy shit is going on there? I want something like that!" So, I just went ahead and did it, and I'm more than happy with the result. We released a song a little over a year ago, and there wasn't a video for it yet. Well, now we've got one!!! I hope you're as blown away by the "Panoptikum" video as I was. Enjoy!
Trains
(Official Music Video)
“Trains” tells the story of the moment when everything becomes too much. Between memories, emptiness, and the longing for a new beginning, only one way out remains: to leave. The song accompanies an inner escape – boarding the next train, without a destination, only with the desire to gain distance and leave the past behind. A melancholic music video about loss, self-discovery, and the hope of starting anew somewhere.
Never Happen Again
(Official Music Video)
"Never Happen Again" is a powerful exploration of guilt, responsibility, and the consequences of wrong decisions. The song questions how good intentions could lead to destructive reality and confronts us with the contradictions between words and deeds. The music video picks up on this tension and serves as a reminder that history and violence must never be allowed to repeat themselves. It's a dark, reflective message about morality, power, and the hope of learning from mistakes.
Insubstantial
(Official Music Video)
"Insubstantial" tells the story of a relationship that slowly transforms into an invisible prison. What initially appears to be closeness, protection, and warmth reveals itself as control and emotional manipulation. The music video captures this oppressive development: between deceptive light and inner resistance, it shows how trust turns into dependency—and how difficult it is to break free from such a bond. An intense, dark story about power, deception, and self-liberation.
In The Beginning (Official Musik Audios) 2020-21
Jigsaw (Marillion Cover)
feat. Tom O'Connor
(Official Music Audio)
I met Tommy in 1985. At that time I came to a new class at school and could choose between 3 people who were still sitting alone at their table. One of them was Tommy, who had put his school bag (a hanging bag in the olive armed forces style) on the bench and the bag was covered with band names like Saga, Journey, Kansa, Yes, Rush and of course Marillion. I looked at my bag, it looked exactly the same, even the band names were identical. So I decided to sit next to Tommy. We are best friends to this day. Marillion were like our soundtrack of life in 1985-86. It is only logical that we may cover the most beautiful, but also one of the most melancholy pieces by Marillion. Also a little bit to caress our own ego.
Lost Again
feat. Tom O'Connor
(Official Music Audio)
I recently found vocal tracks from "Lost Again" on old media. Actually, this piece is already 18 years old. We recorded the vocal tracks back in 2003. So I'm all the happier that this song is finally ready for release.
Leaving You
feat. Moritz M.
(Official Music Audio)
The recordings for "Leaving You" were made in 2012 and the song was released for the first time on the sampler "Musico Sampler Vol. 6" by Musico Kiel in 2017 with an old mix.
